Pamela: I Never Married, Had ‘Physical’ Relationship with Jon Peters

If people weren’t confused before, they definitely are now. Pamela Anderson clarified some specifics about her whirlwind romance with Jon Peters.

“I wasn’t married,” the Baywatch alum, 52, told The New York Times

in a profile published on Thursday, May 28. “No. I’m a romantic. I think I’m an easy target. And I think people just live in fear. I don’t know what all that was about, but I think fear really played a lot into it.”

Us Weekly previously reported in February that Anderson and Peters, 74, were never legally married, though she elaborated on the status of their relationship in the new interview. “It was just kind of a little moment,” she explained. “A moment that came and went, but there was no wedding, there was no marriage, there was no anything. It’s like it never even happened. That sounds bizarre.”

The model revealed that the pair’s involvement occurred after she bumped into the film producer following a trip. “I was in India and I went to this panchakarma cleanse, and I’d been gone for three weeks in this ayurvedic center, meditating, just so clear,” she recalled. “I came back and VWOOM, within 24 hours, I saw Jon. It was like this little whirlwind thing, and it was over really quick, and it was nothing. Nothing physical. It’s just a friendship.”

She added: “We’re all wounded people. And I’m a big believer in fate, destiny, all those crazy things. So I just — there’s something about knowing somebody for so long and thinking, ‘Oh!’ It’s — no hearts were broken. I don’t know what his intentions were. And it’s almost like I don’t even want to think about it too much because it’d be probably too hurtful.”

Anderson admitted she is not in touch with Peters but hopes he is doing OK amid the coronavirus pandemic. “I want to make sure he’s healthy,” she said.

The actress then expressed gratitude for the relationship: “Thank God it happened the way it happened, and I’m here and I’m happy.”

Anderson went on to allege that she has only tied the knot three times and named her ex-husbands as Tommy Lee, Kid Rock and Rick Salomon. “Three marriages. I know that’s a lot, but it’s less than five,” she laughed.

The philanthropist is open to another walk down the aisle too. “Absolutely! Just one more time,” she said. “Just one more time, please, God. One more time only. Only!” She recently dated soccer player Adil Rami for two years before their June 2019 split.

The Hollywood Reporter reported in January that Peters and Anderson wed in a secret ceremony. They announced their split less than two weeks later.

Us exclusively revealed at the time that he called it quits via text message, telling Anderson that marriage “scared” him. “The world knows we did it and I think now we need to go our own separate ways,” he wrote. “I hope that you can forgive me.”

Three weeks later, Us confirmed that Peters was engaged to Julia Bernheim.

Pamela slams ex Jon Peters’ claim he paid her $200G debt

Pamela Anderson is speaking out after her former husband Jon Peters claimed he paid off her debt during their 12-day marriage.

Peters, 74, claimed in an email to Page Six on Monday that he “dropped everything” for Anderson, 52, including hundreds of thousands of dollars. But Anderson’s team is claiming it never happened.

“These claims are not only entirely fabricated, they are ludicrous,” a rep for Anderson said to Fox News on Tuesday. “Despite Mr. Peters’ scurrilous and ongoing efforts to elicit a response from Ms. Anderson, she has no comment to provide and hopes he is well.”

The “Baywatch” icon shocked fans last month when she revealed on Instagram she had tied the knot to Peters, her fifth husband, in a secret ceremony in Malibu, Calif. However, the duo split just 12 days later amid reports they never obtained a legal marriage license.

“She had almost $200,000 in bills and no way to pay it so I paid it and this is the thanks I get,” Peters claimed in his email to Page Six.

After their split, a source told the outlet that Anderson had made a “terrible mistake” and found Peters to be “too controlling” to stay with. In his email, Peters referred to the actress’ claims as “lies.”

“There’s no fool like an old fool,” he continued.

In a statement to Fox News last month, Anderson explained the two put a delay on their marriage license.

“I have been moved by the warm reception to Jon and my union. We would be very grateful for your support as we take some time apart to reevaluate what we want from life and from one another,” Anderson said via her rep.

“Life is a journey and love is a process,” she said. “With that universal truth in mind, we have mutually decided to put off the formalization of our marriage certificate and put our faith in the process.”

“Thank you for respecting our privacy,” she added.

At the time of their split, a source close to the couple told Fox News that their living situation is what caused a rift in their short-lived union.

“She’s known Jon forever, but she never lived with him, contrary to some reports. And until you live with someone… Well, let’s just say Pamela asked for a break. She is heading back to her compound in Ladysmith, Canada, to be with her family,” said the source.

Anderson and Peters were both married four times previously, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Anderson was formerly married to Tommy Lee, Kid Rock and twice to Rick Saloman.

Peters had a 12-year affair with Barbra Streisand. The film veteran produced the 1976 version of “A Star is Born” that starred Streisand; he also produced the 2018 remake that featured Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga.

Jon Peters says he paid Pamela Anderson’s debts before marriage went bust

Hollywood producer Jon Peters claimed Monday that his 12-day marriage to Pamela Anderson went bust after he paid off some of the “broke’’ actress’s debts — adding, “There’s no fool like an old fool.”

The former hairstylist-to-the-stars, 74, took umbrage at a source telling Page Six last week that he asked her to marry him on a whim — but that within a day and a half, she realized she had “made a terrible mistake’’ and that Peters was “too controlling.’’

Peters, who produced the 2018 hit remake “A Star is Born’’ featuring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, wrote in an e-mail, “Everything they told you was a lie’’ — including even that he asked Anderson to marry him.

He said Anderson, 52, proposed to him in a text.

“Needless to say that when she texted me that she wanted to get married, it was kind of a dream come true even though I was engaged to someone else and the lady was moving in,’’ Peters wrote.

“I dropped everything for Pam. She had almost $200,000 in bills and no way to pay it so I paid it and this is the thanks I get. There’s no fool like an old fool.’’

The pair had secretly tied the knot in a Malibu ceremony Jan. 20.

Peters — who went from to celebrity hairdresser to leading Hollywood producer, including of “Batman” in 1989 — and Anderson of TV’s “Baywatch” fame had dated nearly 30 years ago.

Then they announced Feb. 1 that they were splitting.

A source previously said Anderson felt she had foolishly jumped into the marriage because her heart was “too open’’ from a recent “spiritual cleanse’’ in India.

But Peters implied that he told Anderson they were over in a text.

Peters said, “There’s a lot more to the story but I think the text … is self explanatory’’ — attaching a copy of what he wrote “dear pammy’’ to tell her they were through.

“these past 9 days have been a beautiful amazing love fest,’’ he texted the actress. But “this whole marriage thing with lawyers, debt, and jazmin [sic] has scared me. it made me realize that at 74 i need a simple quiet life and not an international love affair.”

Jazmin refers to what the Miami Herald has called a “new, racy lifestyle website.’’ Peters claimed that it borders on porn and said Anderson has been getting her money from it for the past year.

Videos posted to the site Monday covered a variety of topics from skin care to diet to exercising.

“Since I have worked my whole life to try to make something for myself, that was very concerning to me,’’ he said of Anderson’s ties to the site.

In his text to Anderson, he added, “i thought building an empire together would be fun but i was wrong.

“i am a simple guy who loves my kids. i don’t want to fly back and forth to canada. as beautiful as that place is i don’t like traveling. i’m sorry,’’ he told Anderson, who is from Canada.

“i still want you to be in my movie. … this will be an amazing breakthrough for you,’’ Peters texted, referring to his upcoming movie, “Private Dancer.’’ “I can love you by giving you a new career. we need a couple weeks to detune then we can talk. i love you. jp
“ps-i have built a financial empire over the last 50 years that i’ve left all to my kids. it’s something that is very private and personal to me,’’ he added.

“the thought of lawyers going through my business makes me want to throw up.

“i need a break. some time to think. i do love you. but i don’t know how people get together when there’s so much energy around the couple.’’

As for the source who claimed Anderson considered Peters “controlling,’’ the producer said, “I welcomed her into my life with open arms and love since I have looked after her for many years.

“If she meant controlling- I’ve paid … [her] bills since she was broke. I bought her a completely new wardrobe.

“I didn’t want to say anything just wanted it to be that we were going our own separate ways but when I read your article I felt the need to tell the true story.”

A representative for Anderson fired back to The Post, “These claims are not only entirely fabricated, they are ludicrous.

“Despite Mr. Peters’ efforts to elicit a response from Ms. Anderson, she has no comment to provide and wishes him well.”
