Pamela Anderson now permanent Marseille resident

The residents of Marseille have a new famous neighbour, as former model and actress Pamela Anderson and her footballing partner are said to have moved in permanently.

Anderson, and her partner Adil Rami – defender in the Olympique de Marseille (OM) football team – are said to have moved in to an undisclosed house in the Corniche-Kennedy area of the city, near the Prado beaches; an area previously frequented by President Emmanuel Macron, comedian and presenter Laurent Ruquier, and singer Jean-Jacques Goldman.

The couple – who are thought to have met in July 2017 – have reportedly bought their Marseille home, after months of speculation over their relationship, and whether they had arrived in France permanently.

It is not known how often the actress – who is originally Canadian and now holds joint US and Canadian citizenship – will be in the city, but reports suggest it will be relatively frequently, given Rami’s long-term commitment to OM.

Although the house deal was reported as “secret”, with confidentiality clauses preventing much specific information from emerging, residents in the area said that the couple was now frequently seen out and about in the neighborhood.

“We see them in the area, and in certain restaurants,” said one resident, speaking to news source 20 Minutes. “Pamela doesn’t exactly hide.”

Residents appeared mainly interested, but not surprised, at the actress’s arrival.

In fact, this is not the first time that the actress has focused on France; late last year she told The Connexion how much she “loved” the country, and, as an animal rights advocate and member of animal welfare group PETA, was pleased to see “how far the animal rights movement” had come in the nation.

“Vogue Paris just launched a fur-free issue and, instead of cruelly-produced foie gras, people are eating vegan joie gras and croissants sans beurre!” she said.

The high-end reputation of the specific area in Marseille also appears – unsurprisingly – to have attracted the couple.

“There are some beautiful, luxurious residences around here, for sure,” said one local, referring to many of the larger houses in the hills, often surrounded by high walls and security cameras.

Most of them have stunning views towards the Mediterranean, and many also have private pools, with prices reaching into the millions of euros.

Also speaking to 20 Minutes, a local estate agent, Dominique Puccinelli of Cabinet Lieutaud, said: “The Roucas-Blanc-Corniche sector is a state within the state. It is Marseille, without being Marseille! Very close to the centre, but far from the bustle and the noise.

“This is the most sought-after area right now,” he added, explaining that the city was popular due to its coastline but also proximity to facilities such as the international airport.

Pamela clutches a camera as she cheers on rumored beau Adil Rami

While she has yet to publicly confirm whether she is in a romantic relationship with Adil Rami, reports recently surfaced that she’s moved to France to be with him.

And Pamela Anderson, 50, appeared devoted to the 32-year-old footballer on Sunday, when she was spotted cheering him on as his team Olympique de Marseille faced off against AS Monaco during a home game at the Orange Vélodrome.

Looking chic in a plunging floral dress, the former Baywatch star was on hand to catch all of the action on her trusty camera – including when the central defender got things off to a high-octane start with a goal in the game’s seventh minute.

The mother-of-two looked decidedly glamorous for the sporting event, thanks to her white-and-red gown of choice, which hugged her famous curves and ample bosom.

With her golden tresses resting about her shoulders in gentle waves, the Canadian-born star highlighted her natural beauty with a makeup palette of warm colours that included deep pink lipstick and blush.

As she watched the match from her VIP box at the Ligue 1 team’s home stadium, Pamela chatted away with fellow supporters – all while keeping her eye on the action.
Her outing to the game – which saw the teams walk away with a 2-2 draw – comes days after TMZ reported that she has taken her relationship with Adil to the next life by moving into his home in Marseille.

She is said to be trading in the sunnier climes of Los Angeles for European living and has also brought along her Golden Retriever, Zuzu, for the new chapter in her life.

According to the website, Pamela is in regular contact with her two sons, Dylan, 20, and Brandon, 21, in America and they frequently fly out to see her. It is also claimed that she has no plans on returning to live in the US.

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Pamela Anderson for comment.

A source previously told Us Weekly that her sons have already met her alleged lover – who also plays for the French national team – and they approve.

‘The boys have previously met Adil and they fully approve of him for their mom,’ the source told the publication.

The pair are said to have met at the Cannes Film Festival last year and have reportedly been ‘inseparable’ ever since.

Pamela’s pairing comes after it was heavily speculated she was dating WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
Pamela was first linked to Julian in September 2014, when she was spotted at London’s Ecuadorian embassy, where he has been living in political exile since 2012.

The actress, model and animal rights campaigner has previously stated that she has a simple friendship with the Australian Assange.

‘I wouldn’t say it’s romantic, but we are very close,’ she revealed in the sit-down chat with Megyn Kelly, which aired on her daytime talk show, Megyn Kelly Today in December.

Pamela confirmed she was introduced to Assange through fashion designer Vivienne Westwood previously during a visit to the Embassy of Ecuador in London.

She was first interested in learning from him about ways to become ‘more effective as an activist,’ she said, while speaking with Kelly.

Assange has been living in solitude in political asylum for some time now, after being accused in 2010 of sexual assault and rape against two women in Sweden – which he since denied.

Meanwhile, Pamela has now leased her plush Malibu estate, complete with swimming pool, sauna and private beach, for an eye-watering $70,000 per month.

The Malibu Colony beach house, California, – which she purchased for $1.8m in 2008, has been remodelled over time, and is now available to rent for $70k in the summer months [£50,200 approx] and $40k for a 12-month lease [£28,700 approx].

Pamela Anderson watches on as Adil Rami scores for Marseille

PAMELA ANDERSON was a notable guest at the Stade Velodrome as she watched her reported partner Adil Rami in action for Marseille against Monaco in the 2-2 draw.

And her presence clearly had an effect on the 32-year-old who equalised in the seventh minute to cancel out Keita Balde’s early opener.

Valere Germain then put Rudi Garcia’s men in front against his former side, before Fabinho netted shortly after as both teams shared the spoils in the Ligue 1 tie.

The game burst into life immediately after the whistle, as Keita fired the reigning champions ahead in the fourth minute, as he slotted his strike beyond Steve Mandanda.

But Rami – who is reported to be living with the former Baywatch star – then got his men back on level terms shortly after heading home a Florian Thauvin corner.

Both side’s were guilty of squandering a host of chances in the opening 45 minutes, with Falcao, Dimitri Payet, Lucas Ocampos and Thauvin all going close.

And just like the first half, the goals came thick and fast at the start of the second period.

Germain – who left Stade Louis II last summer – found the back of the net in the 47th minute, as he bravely got on the end of a Payet delivery to head past Danijel Subasic.

But it didn’t take long for Manchester United and Manchester City target Fabinho to get in on the act.

The 24-year-old equalised just four minutes later, as he guided his right-footed strike into the bottom left corner.

Both teams continued their quest for a winner, with Hermain and Thauvin spurning key opportunities for the home side.

In the end, the result does neither club no favours, as Marseille stay in third place – 11 points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain – while Monaco remain in fourth spot.
