Pamela Anderson’s shocking career move after raw Netflix doc

Move over Brooklyn Beckham — there’s another celebrity set to show off their culinary skills.

Pamela Anderson, 55, has revealed she’s signed on to star in a new Food Network Canada series titled “Pamela’s Cooking With Love.”

The “Baywatch” babe’s surprise new career move was announced Monday — less than a week after the release of her hit Netflix documentary “Pamela, A Love Story,” in which she expresses uncertainty about her next showbusiness move.

But the famed vegan — who hasn’t eaten meat in more than 30 years — now seems settled on a career as a domestic goddess, saying the show will see her working with a variety of chefs on plant-based menus inside her Vancouver Island home.

“Creating elegant and inviting spaces that inspire a compassionate, calm and healthy environment has always been important to me and comes naturally,” Anderson said in a statement obtained by the Hollywood Reporter.

The busty blond could be eyeing an unlikely transformation into TV’s next lifestyle queen, à la Martha Stewart, given that she also recently wrapped “Pamela’s Garden of Eden,” a docuseries that saw her working with architects and designers to restore her grandmother’s property on Vancouver Island.

That show has been renewed for a second season, with Anderson set to film “Pamela’s Cooking With Love” and new episodes of “Pamela’s Garden of Eden” concurrently this coming summer.

Anderson is back in the public eye thanks to the new Netflix doc and her memoir “Love Pamela,” which hit bookstores last week.

In the tome, Anderson dives into her toxic relationship with her ex-husband Tommy Lee. The pair share two sons, Brandon, 26, and Dylan, 25.

“I’m not a victim, and I’m not the damsel in distress,” Anderson candidly writes. “I’ve made my choices in my life. Some obviously were made for me, but I’ve always been able to find myself again. And it’s created a strong person and a strong parent.”

The star also drops a range of other juicy tidbits in the tell-all, writing that she also allegedly saw Jack Nicholson having a threesome at the Playboy Mansion.

Anderson has been on the cover of Playboy more times than any other model and her career with the raunchy mag spanned 22 years. She first appeared as the cover girl for the October 1989 issue.

Pamela Anderson’s Ex Kelly Slater Congratulates Her on Netflix Doc

Kelly Slater is still a fan of his ex-girlfriend Pamela Anderson.

The 11-time World Surf League champion, 50, congratulated his former Baywatch costar and her family this week on the premiere of her Netflix documentary Pamela, a love story, in which Anderson, 55, looked back on her life, career and relationships, including one with Slater.

“Congrats to you guys. Look forward to watching. :)” Slater commented on a post by Anderson and Tommy Lee’s son Brandon Thomas Lee, who produced the intimate documentary.

In one candid confession from the film, Anderson admitted that she was still dating Slater during her 1995 whirlwind courtship with Lee, now 60, when they got hitched four days after meeting. The bride’s first call was to her new ex.

“I was dating Kelly Slater at the time, and I was supposed to go see him in Florida and meet his family,” she said, recounting the impromptu Cancún beach wedding. “My first phone call was to him to tell him I was married. He’s like, ‘What?!’ That was horrible.’ ”

Anderson had fond memories of her young romance with Slater, whom she met while starring together on Baywatch. “He was my big love, actually. He was such a sweetheart to me and so good to me,” she mused.

The former Playboy Playmate said that she “dated Kelly all the time,” and they “were together between lots of boyfriends and lots of girlfriends for him too, but it wasn’t just me.”

But Slater was a “free spirit,” Anderson said. “You couldn’t get your hands around him. But you don’t own anybody. Nobody owns anybody, and you just let them be who they are. Sometimes it’s better not with you.”

Anderson previously spoke to PEOPLE at the Los Angeles premiere of Pamela, A Love Story, explaining how personal the documentary and her Love, Pamela memoir were for her.

“Of course, it’s emotional for me,” Anderson says. “It’s just all these wonderful memories and hard memories too. But I wanted to go back into those feelings and feel those feelings.”

Pamela, a love story is now streaming on Netflix, and Love, Pamela is available wherever books are sold.

Pamela Anderson Says She Hopes to Get Married for a Sixth Time: ‘I Still Have a Lot of Life Left’

Pamela Anderson has been through six marriages, but she’s still open to tying the knot again one day.

During 55-year-old Anderson’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday, host Jimmy Kimmel asked the actress and model whether she may get married again as she promoted her new memoir Love, Pamela and Netflix documentary.

“God, what a crazy question,” Anderson told the host. “I don’t know, I hope so.”

“I hope so. I don’t know,” the Baywatch alum said when Kimmel, also 55, repeated the question. “I still have a lot of life left.”

The late night host then jokingly asked Anderson whether she has met MyPillow’s Mike Lindell, who also appeared on the show Tuesday from inside of an arcade-style claw machine to speak with Kimmel.

“I don’t even know who that is,” Anderson said of Lindell.

Anderson was first married to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee in 1995. She shares two sons, Brandon, 26, and Dylan, 25, with ex Lee, 60. She also went on to marry Kid Rock, Rick Salomon (they wed twice but one of the marriages was annulled) and her bodyguard Dan Hayhurst. In 2020, she married film producer Jon Peters for a total of 12 days, though the union was never official since they didn’t file the paperwork.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Anderson recalled that her short-lived marriage to Hayhurst — they broke up less than one year after their Christmas Eve 2020 wedding — “ended up being a disaster.”

After the rocky marriage, Anderson told the outlet that she now feels content without needing to always have a partner in her life.

“I’ve learned to try and do this without a life preserver, without having anyone around me to console me. I have to console myself,” she told Vanity Fair. “That’s been the hardest part of the journey — to go, I’m okay on my own … with my dogs. I need my dogs. I can’t be that alone.”

“I had this wild, bumpy life and met a lot of interesting people along the way and had a lot of interesting love affairs. But I feel like my life is more romantic now than ever,” she continued.

“I have dinner for one or with my dogs. I’m the same person with or without somebody,” Anderson added. “Rose petals in the bathtub, making my own rose oils, making my own candles. I’m kind of crafty all of a sudden.”

Anderson’s memoir Love, Pamela and her Netflix documentary Pamela, a Love Story, are both out now.
