Pamela Anderson moonlights as dog walker in NYC

From “Baywatch” to dog watch.

Pamela Anderson has reportedly taken up an unexpected Big Apple side-gig during her Broadway run — working as a dog walker.

The former “Baywatch” star first told The Post in March that she was hitting Central Park every day because she was pining for pooches because her own dogs “couldn’t come to New York” with her.

“That’s how I get my dose of dogs every day,” she told us at the time of her daily jogs.

Just seeing the hounds was not enough, it seems — and sources told TMZ that the walks inspired the longtime animal-rights activist to actually seek out a dog that needed walking.

Her assistant then hooked her up with a friend who needed help with an Irish Setter named Dash, TMZ said.

Dash’s owners were “stunned” when the 54-year-old actress turned up as their dog walker, the the outlet said. Anderson is not getting paid for the daily walks, which she has been doing for at least three weeks, a rep for Anderson said.

Anderson has been getting rave reviews for her eight-week spell as Roxie Hart in “Chicago.”

“She’s a star all over again! She’s like the horse who won the Kentucky Derby,” Anderson’s socialite pal Nikki Haskell told Page Six.

She’s a winner!

Pals of Pamela Anderson are still raving about her starring role as Roxie in “Chicago” one month after the “Baywatch” icon made her Broadway debut.

“She’s a star all over again! She’s like the horse who won the Kentucky Derby,” Anderson’s socialite pal Nikki Haskell told Page Six.

Rich Strike won the Derby earlier this month after overcoming incredible odds as an 80-1 long-shot.

And if anyone knows about stars on the Great White Way, it’s Haskell, who told us she’s seen every show on Broadway this season with the exception of “one or two.”

Of Anderson, Haskell added, “She just got divorced about ten minutes ago from some guy in Canada — not Tommy Lee, he was several husbands ago…. [Pamela is] fabulous! She’s a showstopper. I’m so proud of her.”

Anderson spent her day off on Wednesday having an early birthday dinner with Haskell, who turns 81 on May 17. It was a dinner for two at Polo Bar and, “It was just fabulous,” Haskell said.

“Everyone was coming up to [Pamela] asking her for her autograph — even some of my friends! They didn’t even look at me. Everyone was asking, ‘Is that Pamela Anderson?’ They couldn’t believe she was there,” Haskell said.

Polo Bar head honcho Nelly Moudime even popped over to the table to say hello to Anderson and to wish Haskell a happy birthday, we’re told.

Anderson’s eight-week run in “Chicago” is coming to an end, but Haskell told us her friend “may come back in the fall.”

“She’s getting offers like crazy now to do all sorts of things,” Haskell added. And, of course, “It’s fabulous!” she said.

Pamela greets fans in NYC

Pamela Anderson continued to enjoy her success on Broadway as she greeted fans waiting outside the Ambassador Theatre in New York on Tuesday evening.

The Baywatch star, 54, looked every inch the blond bombshell after another night performing as Roxie Hart in Chicago.

Canadian-born Pammy dazzled fans waiting outside for her as she took time to sign autographs while flashing her Hollywood smile.

Anderson started her eight-week run as Roxie Hart in the musical last month, with her sons Dylan Jagger Lee, 24, and Brandon Thomas Lee, 25, in the audience on opening night.

When Pamela entered the cast of Chicago, she joined a long line of celebrities to play the lead role of Roxie in the current revival.

The original production, directed and choreographed by Bob Fosse, was only a moderate success in the 1970s despite being led by Gwen Verdon and Chita Rivera.

However the show was revived in 1996, directed and choregraphed by Bob’s onetime mistress Ann Reinking ‘in the style of Bob Fosse,’ and became a huge smash.

The revival has become the second longest running Broadway musical of all time, surpassed only by The Phantom Of The Opera.

Celebrities galore have trouped in and out of the show, with Roxie alone played by a dizzying range of names including Brooke Shields, Ashlee Simpson, Lisa Rinna, Erika Jayne, Christie Brinkley and Melanie Griffith.

Anderson recently announced her upcoming Netflix documentary in a handwritten note on her Instagram, which reads she is ‘not a victim, but a survivor… alive to tell the real story.’

The revelation came after sources close to the actress said she felt ‘violated’ by the recent Hulu series, Pam & Tommy, which is focused on the theft and release of Pamela’s and ex-husband Tommy Lee’s infamous sex tape in 1995.

‘The series has been very painful for Pamela Anderson and for anyone that loves her,’ a source told ET. ‘It is shocking that this series is allowed to happen without her approval.’

‘The only thing she would probably erase is this burglary. She feels so violated to this day. It brings back a very painful time for her,’ the insider added.
