Pamela Anderson shows love for boyfriend’s World Cup trophy

Pamela Anderson is one happy WAG.

The “Baywatch” star was on hand to support boyfriend Adil Rami celebrate his World Cup win, clutching the 32-year-old Marseilles player’s trophy while he pointed at her and grinned.

Anderson, 51, has been dating the soccer star since summer 2017, though they’ve been careful to not be photographed together often since getting together.

“We want to protect our love. There are a lot of fake and phony relationships out there, people just trying to get noticed,” Anderson, who’s currently living with Rami in France, previously told The Daily Mail of her romance. “He does not want this and neither do I. He is not with me because he wants attention and vice versa … He cares about me deeply. We have a very healthy, simple wonderful life without all the bells and whistles. We both have our children to try to squeeze into the equation, but he is amazing. He is a good guy, really a good guy.

Anderson attended several World Cup matches to cheer Rami on, though she missed one due to a cold. Despite her absence, a large sparkler on her right hand led many to believe she and Rami may have an engagement in their future.

A rep for Anderson told Page Six that Rami flew Anderson out to watch the World Cup, and that while he celebrates with his colleagues, she’s enjoying downtime with family and friends in Los Angeles, where Rami will join her next week while he’s on a break.

Part of why the Canadian-born bombshell may be becoming more public with her Rami romance is to downplay rumors of a relationship with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, a rumor that’s persisted for years.

“It’s all crazy. It’s funny how your relationships do get reduced to some kind of sexual relationship,” she told The Daily Beast of her friendship with Assange. “I think the world of Julian, I really do, and I think he’s an important person that needs to be protected, and that bringing any attention to him helps keep him safe. My role is to let people know that he’s a human being and not just a robot or a computer, and that he’s really sacrificing a lot for all of us. He hasn’t seen sunlight in six years. His skin is transparent. He doesn’t have access to doctors outside the embassy. And now I’m very concerned with how he’s being pushed out of the embassy. Something could happen any day now. We don’t know.”

Anderson also admitted that she’d like President Donald Trump to pardon Assange — even imploring Kanye West to ask him to do so — though she’s not entirely sure she’ll be able to make it happen.

“I’d love to have a meeting with Trump. I would like to have a meeting at the White House but it just hasn’t happened,” she said. “I would love to meet with Trump about Julian but there are so many more qualified people who I guess they’d want to listen to. I’ve spent a lot of time with him, but the issues and concerns are very complicated. Julian is relentless with his fight and relentless with his vision and has incredibly smart people around him, so even if he’s taken out of the equation — hopefully not literally — the movement will still continue.”
