Pamela Anderson Continues Support of the National Domestic Violence Hotline

Actress, author and philanthropist Pamela Anderson announced today, the donation of $30,000 to the National Domestic Violence Hotline (The Hotline) on behalf of the Pamela Anderson Foundation. This marks the fourth year of the Pamela Anderson Foundation’s generous support of The Hotline. Anderson, who now spends most of her time raising funds for non-profit organizations worldwide, visited The Hotline’s headquarters in 2015 to present a $60,000 donation and hear firsthand how advocates are making a difference in the lives of those affected by abuse.

Anderson’s donation will support The Hotline’s work in educating and providing resources to family members affected by abusive relationships in the home, by providing emotional support, safety planning and local resources, such as legal advice and counseling.

Advocates from The Hotline often hear from victims and survivors whose abusive partners exploit their children as a tactic for control in the relationship. They work with victims and survivors to assess tactics that are used when there are young people in the home and provide safety-planning tips. They also coach families on how to communicate when alcohol and drug abuse are factors.

Every day, advocates at The Hotline receive nearly 1,300 calls, chats and texts from victims, survivors and their friends and family seeking information about domestic violence. With one in four women, one in seven men and one in three teens experiencing physical, emotional or verbal abuse by an intimate partner in their lifetime, the need to provide resources and support for victims is critical.

“It’s a privilege to continue to support the important work of the National Domestic Violence Hotline, whose advocates I’ve had an opportunity to meet and hear from directly,” said Pamela Anderson, founder of the Pamela Anderson Foundation. “As a mother of two, I am particularly delighted to know that our donation will help ensure that families in need of both compassion and information will continue to find a 24/7, trusted resource in The Hotline.”

“Our everyday work is made possible by supporters like Pamela Anderson, and we are tremendously grateful for her partnership and generous contributions over the past four years,” said Katie Ray-Jones, chief executive officer of The Hotline. “The Foundation’s support significantly and positively impacts our ability to offer services and provide resources for parents who are experiencing abuse, which is critical to our mission.”

Tommy Lee blasts Pamela Anderson for discussing abusive relationship

Tommy Lee has blasted ex-wife Pamela Anderson after she opened up about their abusive relationship in a Piers Morgan interview.

The Mötley Crüe rocker took to Twitter in the early hours of this morning to tweet the British journalist over his “Life Stories” chat with the “Baywatch” star which aired on Saturday night.

Tommy, 55, wrote: “@piersmorgan ur interviews w/Donald Trump & my ex-wife are pathetic!

“Think she’d find something new to discuss instead of rehashing old s–t but I guess she has nothing else going on & needs attention.”

He controversially added at the end: “Signed, The abuser” (who she texts everyday & asks for me back).

Tommy – who was married to Pamela, 50, from three years in the mid-90s – was referring to comments made by the actress and Playboy model in the interview about how their marriage came to an end after he assaulted her.

The rocker served six months in jail after pleading no contest to the charges, but was clearly still unhappy about his past misdemeanors being discussed on the program.

Tommy shot back: “I suggest you don’t interview her. Are you that desperate for people to interview?

“She literally has NOTHING going on so she brings up old drama for attention.

“I’m sure there’s some people better worth your time. Lovely to hear from you too ha”.

Piers wasn’t fazed however, replying: “Morning Tommy! Lovely to hear from you. I’m not responsible for what Pamela told me about your marriage so I suggest you take it up with her.”

He added in another tweet: “I like Pamela and I like you… if you fancy doing an interview yourself, I would be happy to let you have your say?”

While Tommy didn’t reply to Piers, 52, directly, he tweeted: “Everyone wants to give you their two cents, it’s like, I don’t need a pocket full of change thank you very much. Keep it movvvving.”

Pamela joins magician Hans Klok in Munich

She is currently on the House of Mystery tour with Dutch illusionist Hans Klok, where she plays a glamorous assistant.

And Pamela Anderson ensured all eyes were on her as she posed up a storm with her co-star at Munich’s Hotel Bayerischer Hof on Saturday.

The 50-year-old sex symbol cut an elegant figure in her form-fitting dress ahead of the pair’s sold out show in Austria later that day.

Looking every inch the vixen, Pamela flashed a glimpse at her toned legs as her off-black frock grazed her knees.

The Baywatch star teamed her sophisticated ensemble with a pair of patent stilletoes by Christian Louboutin.

The blonde bombshell put her age-defying looks in the spotlight with minimal foundation, fiery orange eyeshadow and a glossy lip.

Charming Pamela styled her tresses into chic Hollywood waves while she stood next to the hunky magician.

The 49-year-old illusionist put on a suave display in a navy blazer and grey jeans shortly before the couple’s show in Bregenz, Austria.

Pamela and Hans kicked off the tour in December last year, and have since delivered performances across Germany.

Pamela’s glamorous appearances comes after her honest interview on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, set to air on Saturday.

The activist spoke candidly about the men in her life as she hinted at past relationships with the likes of Vladimir Putin, 65, Julian Assange, 46, Sylvester Stallone, 71, and also discussed her footballer beau, Adil Rami, 32.

During her discussion, the Canada native revealed that she had kept in contact with Vladimir Putin since she successfully lobbied him to ban the hunting of seals in 2009.

Recalling that she had been asked to his 2012 inauguration as his guest, she teased: ‘I did not do that, but there has been some… obviously we have been in the same place together sometimes’, concluding: ‘I have a great relationship with Russia. Yes.’

The V.I.P. star also teased at her rumoured romance with Julian Assange, by avoiding Piers’ questions yet stating that they are ‘mostly’ good friends.
