Tommy Lee has blasted ex-wife Pamela Anderson after she opened up about their abusive relationship in a Piers Morgan interview.
The Mötley Crüe rocker took to Twitter in the early hours of this morning to tweet the British journalist over his “Life Stories” chat with the “Baywatch” star which aired on Saturday night.
Tommy, 55, wrote: “@piersmorgan ur interviews w/Donald Trump & my ex-wife are pathetic!
“Think she’d find something new to discuss instead of rehashing old s–t but I guess she has nothing else going on & needs attention.”
He controversially added at the end: “Signed, The abuser” (who she texts everyday & asks for me back).
Tommy – who was married to Pamela, 50, from three years in the mid-90s – was referring to comments made by the actress and Playboy model in the interview about how their marriage came to an end after he assaulted her.
The rocker served six months in jail after pleading no contest to the charges, but was clearly still unhappy about his past misdemeanors being discussed on the program.
Tommy shot back: “I suggest you don’t interview her. Are you that desperate for people to interview?
“She literally has NOTHING going on so she brings up old drama for attention.
“I’m sure there’s some people better worth your time. Lovely to hear from you too ha”.
Piers wasn’t fazed however, replying: “Morning Tommy! Lovely to hear from you. I’m not responsible for what Pamela told me about your marriage so I suggest you take it up with her.”
He added in another tweet: “I like Pamela and I like you… if you fancy doing an interview yourself, I would be happy to let you have your say?”
While Tommy didn’t reply to Piers, 52, directly, he tweeted: “Everyone wants to give you their two cents, it’s like, I don’t need a pocket full of change thank you very much. Keep it movvvving.”
