Work commitments took a back seat as Pamela Anderson paid her latest visit to close friend Julian Assange on Monday afternoon.
The former Baywatch star, 50, a staunch vegan and PETA campaigner, arrived with a bag full of healthy vegetarian food for beleaguered Assange, who has been living in political exile at London’s Ecuadorian embassy since 2012.
Sporting a chic fitted roll neck over a form-fitting pencil skirt, Pamela oozed 50s elegance as she made her way inside ahead of her latest visit with the controversial WikiLeaks founder, 46.
A smart polka-dot headscarf added to her retro look, while glossy black heels rounded things off.
In keeping with her vintage themed look, Pamela accessorised distinctively shaped sunglasses and a tasteful smart leather handbag.
Later that night she showed her support for acclaimed journalist Renata Avila, theatre director and activist Sarah Harrison and human rights lawyer Angela Richter, who were promoting their new book Women, Whistleblowing, WikiLeaks.
The actress, model and animal rights campaigner has previously stated that she has a simple friendship with the Australian Assange.
‘I wouldn’t say it’s romantic, but we are very close,’ she revealed in the sit-down chat with Megyn Kelly, which aired on her daytime talk show, Megyn Kelly Today in December.
Pamela confirmed she was introduced to Assange through fashion designer Vivienne Westwood previously during a visit to the Embassy of Ecuador in London.
She was first interested in learning from him about ways to become ‘more effective as an activist,’ she said, while speaking with Kelly.
Assange has been living in solitude in political asylum for some time now, after being accused in 2010 of sexual assault and rape against two women in Sweden – which he since denied.
Meanwhile Pamela is rumoured to be dating football player Adil Rami, 33, who is said to be leaving his native France to spend the holidays in Malibu.
A source told Us Weekly that her sons have already met her young lover and they approve.
‘The boys have previously met Adil and they fully approve of him for their mom,’ the source told the publication.
The pair are said to have met at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year and have reportedly been ‘inseparable’ ever since.
