Their unusual relationship began three years ago and has gone from strength to strength ever since.
And Pamela Anderson looked over the moon following her meeting with Julian Assange as she left the Ecuadorian Embassy in London’s Knightsbridge on Tuesday.
The Baywatch star, 50, had clearly made a special effort for the Wikileaks founder as she rocked a knee-grazing 50s style beige dress paired with a glamorous matching faux fur coat.
The figure-hugging dress hugged the blonde beauty’s famously ample assets and cinched in at the middle with a white belt, flaunting her toned midriff.
Oozing elegance, the dress flared outwards into an A-line skirt, cut slightly above the knee, which flaunted the star’s tanned and toned pins.
The age-defying star added height with chic black and gold stilettos and accessorised with silk evening gloves
Keeping the vintage vibe, Pamela swept her blonde locks up into an elegant chignon and covered her sparkling peepers with cat eye sunglasses.
She added a bombshell edge with a slick of scarlet lipstick.
The visit was clearly a success for the Barb Wire actress who couldn’t keep the smile off her face as she exited the embassy.
Although Pamela was at one point rumoured to be in a relationship with Julian, she is now dating footballer Adil Rami.
They were seen putting on a cosy display in St Tropez, as well as dining together in Nice.
Pamela was first spotted at the embassy in September 2014.
The meeting was set up for Anderson to try to persuade Assange to back her new foundation, which supports women who are victims of sexual abuse.
Since then, she has become a regular guest and was even snapped bringing vegan cheeseburgers to the political prisoner in February.
Julian has been living in self-imposed exile at the Ecuadorian Embassy since June 19 2012, believing he will be extradited to the United States for questioning over the activities of WikiLeaks if he leaves.
He is also subject to a European Arrest Warrant over allegations he raped a woman in Sweden which could be enforced as soon as he steps out on to the street.
The actress has previously referred to Assange as her ‘dear friend’, saying she would not be surprised if people reduced their connection to ‘just a sexual relationship’.
And although Pamela may be more used to glitzy galas than political drama, she has remained resolute in her support for Julian.
The star opened up further on ITV’s Loose Women in February, calling him ‘heroic’ and ‘important’.
She said: ‘I’m always doing something, trying to do something every day, befriending people that are important people in the world like Julian Assange’.
The star has tied the knot three times.
She was married to rocker Tommy Lee from 1995 to 1998 after knowing him for only four days.
The former flames share her two children Dylan Jagger Lee, 19, and Brandon Thomas Lee, 20.
Pamela went onto marry Kid Rock in 2006 but they were separated in 2007.
In the same year, she tied the knot with Rick Salomon and despite a 2008 annulment, she remarried him by 2014 – but they parted ways for good in February 2015.
